LIFES WORTH LIVING. Cutter Sipes
Bravery
Bravery is an important part of life when a persons is standing up or fighting back. For instance, a woman was getting beat by the Taliban she didn’t have bravery and she just let it happen. It only got worse because she didn’t have bravery.
Bravery is so, important when a person is standing up. For example, Malala stood up and fought back she made a difference. She was brave when she was in that hospital because she knew bravery was going to get her through that. It is important to be brave when you are making a difference and fighting back for the world.
Malala, a young Pakistani girl, was shot by the Taliban. The Taliban thought they could be seen from a different angle from shooting her, but they only made things worse for them. Here’s a quote from Malalas’ story. ” Fear, hopelessness, and danger died. Courage, hope, and bravery was born. “

MUSKETS
The most popular musket was the brown bess. Another popular musket is the Charleville made by the french. The charleville was simalur to the brown bess. Muskets were unreliable. It could hit its target or it could miss its target. It could only shoot 100 yards and took 3 too 4 shots.

A boyonet went at the end of a musket. A boyonet is a sharp peace of metal around 17 inches long. A boyonet turned the musket into a spear.
CANNONS
Cannons fired solid shells ,exploding shells ,and grape shot. Cannons were effective in destroying fortafacations or sinking ships. Sometimes cannons were fired straight at a line of troops tearing right through them and stopping there attack.
OTHER WEAPONS
Rifles were also used during the Revalution. Rifles were more reliable than muskets but took more time to load. Soldiers also carried knives and hachets but these were never used during major battles. Soldiers on horses used pistols and sabers to fight.
